Brad Daley in the #66 has been a great help in teaching me the small thing. Thanks to him and the help of others, I'm at the top of my game.

By the end of the year, Coast Tire in Dieppe had joined in, and thus we were up and running with 2 sponsors!

However, racing isn't all fun and games. At the 2004 Atlantic Championships (last race of 2004), on the last lap of the Feature, running 6th, I got T-boned by #66 Brad Daley in the drivers door, and flipped my car. This is what's left of the door.

Below: Chris Morrison edged me out by 4 inches. This was to be my highest feature finish, 2nd place. I would follow this up with 2 Heat/Semi wins, and a 2nd place in the Labour Day 50 Lap Invitational.

Keith Lewis in the #30 was also a huge inspiration in helping me along. He and I both come from a racing family/background. I owe many thanks to guys like he and Brad who took the time to show a young pup the ropes.

The impact happened at 70 mph, which launched Daley's car directly into my driver's door. I went to the hospital to check for a concussion. The doctor said had I been in an actual racing seat, I'd either have broken ribs, or dead. It was a freak accident, one rarely seen at the track. And boy, did it hurt.
